- Each card can be used in three different ways.
- Slide the card above the board for a harvest, under the playboard for an expansion of the village or lay the card to sell beer and bread.
- The way you get cards depends on the round.
- During a strong year you pass cards over and over, each time you choose a card to play.
- During a lean year you have to do it with the cards you get, even though you can exchange limited cards with the exchange field.
- Who has produced the most beer or bread after six rounds.
- But there's a little catch.
- What you have produced the least number of, determines your final score.
- So you lose if you have made a huge bet on bread, while your production in beer has remained very limited.
